Islamabad Police have announced temporary road closures across the federal capital tonight between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM, with traffic diversions likely to cause congestion on major routes including the Expressway and Faisal Avenue.
According to the police, traffic diversions will be implemented on the Expressway, Murree Road, and Club Road, which may lead to increased traffic congestion on the Expressway and Faisal Avenue.
The spokesperson advised citizens traveling from Rawalpindi to Islamabad to use Rawal Road, Ninth Avenue, Faquir Avenue Road, and Srinagar Highway.
Those heading to Rawalpindi are advised to take Zero Point and Srinagar Highway to reach Ninth Avenue.
Travelers coming from Murree or Bara Kahu should use Korang Road, Banigala, Park Road, and Lehtrar Road.
Similarly, people traveling to Rawalpindi from Serena and Bhara Kahu are advised to take Park Road and the Khenah route.
