ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that disqualification references against 20 deviant members will be submitted to the Speaker’s Office.
A petition seeking interpretation of Article 63A is pending in the court. Speaking at a press conference, the former federal minister said that Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the Central Parliamentary Board tomorrow. “Therefore, we are being taught the constitution, I do not know which clause has been violated,” he maintained.
Umar said that where is it written in the constitution that MNS should be bought by spending money. “Our statement has been accepted by the nation, it is being said for us that PTI has become unpopular, why are they afraid of new elections? The people must recognize whichever party they vote for,” he said.
