Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that violence and terrorism will not be tolerated under any circumstances, stressing that neither terrorists nor their facilitators will be spared.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief visited Quetta on Thursday, where he was briefed on the prevailing security situation and ongoing internal security operations.
Speaking on the occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated that there would be no leniency for terrorists or those aiding them, adding that terrorism and violence are unacceptable in any form.
He paid tribute to the professionalism and sacrifices of law enforcement agencies working to maintain peace and stability in the region.
During the visit, the army chief, along with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, visited CMH Quetta and met injured personnel from the army, Frontier Corps and police, enquiring about their wellbeing.
Upon arrival in Quetta, Field Marshal Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Quetta.
