Teenage boy kidnapped, allegedly raped in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: A teenage boy was raped after being kidnapped for allegedly stealing a mobile phone in UC Beirut of Bakot police station on the outskirts of Abbottabad.
According to sources, the influential landlord raped a 17-year-old boy after being kidnapped for allegedly stealing a mobile phone.
Sources said, “The boy is currently in critical condition in Rawalpindi Holy Family Hospital”. According to the boy’s family, Khalid Abbas Abbasi, a senior PML-N leader, is a relative of the accused.
Khalid Abbas Abbasi has been active to save the accused. However the police have not registered a case against the accused yet, sources said.
Regarding the incident, the SHO of Bakot police station said that several raids were carried out to arrest the accused but no arrest was made.
The family members of the victim have appealed to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to take notice of the incident and demand that the accused be punished according to the law.
