SARGODHA: A young student of class 9 has died due to a teacher’s torture for allegedly not remembering a lesson In Punjab’s district.
According to a media report stated by Geo, a school teacher assaulted a young student named Samiullah living in the hostel of a private school with a stick for not remembering the lesson, as a result of which the student suffered an internal injury in the spinal cord. The teacher fled from the scene.
As a result of being injured by the stick, the condition of the student became critical. Sargodha Police said that the young student was shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad for medical assistance, but he could not survive. A raid is being conducted to arrest the teacher responsible for the incident.
It should be noted that there have been incidents in schools and madrassas in which students have died due to teachers’ violence, Sargodha Police has registered a case of the incident that happened two days ago today. Further investigation of the incident is underway.
