Jazz’s digital entertainment platform, Tamasha, has achieved a historic milestone, surpassing 25 million monthly active users during the Asia Cup 2025 — the highest ever for a Pakistani streaming app.
According to an official statement, the app’s unprecedented popularity was evident on 21 September, when more than 10 million viewers streamed the high-voltage Pakistan–India clash live on Tamasha.
This record-breaking viewership not only highlights cricket fans’ passion but also underscores Tamasha’s ability to unite the nation during major moments.
Aamir Ejaz, President of Jazz Digital Platforms, said the 25 million-user mark is “not only a success for Tamasha but a moment of pride for Pakistan’s entire digital ecosystem.” He added that the platform’s growth reflects customer trust and strong partnerships.
From sports to entertainment, Tamasha continues to offer experiences that bring people closer while delivering strong results for advertising partners. Its growing user base has already attracted Pakistan’s top brands, with major agencies choosing Tamasha as a preferred advertising partner for its vast reach and strong return on investment.
During the Asia Cup 2025, Tamasha also introduced product innovations, allowing users to watch matches either free with ads or via a low-cost Pro package offering an ad-free premium experience. This dual model strengthened Tamasha’s position as both a free and subscription-based streaming service.
Since its launch, Tamasha has emerged as Pakistan’s premier destination for live sports and quality entertainment.
After successfully streaming events such as the ICC Champions Trophy, the English Premier League, Wimbledon and the Olympics, the platform is now set to broadcast every match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 (30 September – 2 November) live, aiming to promote women’s cricket in a new and dynamic way.
