Alexa Demie has officially returned as Maddy Perez in the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria, Episode 7 “Rain or Shine”.
The new season introduces a dramatic five-year time jump, showing Maddy stepping into a darker and more mature phase of her life far removed from her high school years.
Known for her bold Y2K-inspired fashion in earlier seasons, Maddy now embraces a refined style influenced by old Hollywood glamour and vintage fashion from the 1960s through the 1990s.
According to makeup department head Donni Davy, the character’s updated appearance reflects a confident adult determined to be taken seriously.
One of the major highlights of the season is Maddy’s reunion with Cassie Howard, played by Sydney Sweeney. Their complicated relationship, which fuelled much of the drama in previous seasons, returns with a more mature and emotionally layered dynamic.
Created by Sam Levinson, Euphoria continues to explore themes of identity, trauma, relationships and self-destruction as its characters navigate adulthood after high school.
