Kamalia – A dangerous bandit involved in the gang-rape of two sisters and a robbery was killed during a police encounter.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Kamalia Sadar Police Station.

According to police, the encounter took place when a police team came face-to-face with a group of armed robbers.

During the exchange of fire, the suspect identified as Waras Ali was killed, reportedly struck by bullets fired by his own accomplices. Three other suspects managed to escape under the cover of fire.

Police revealed that Waras Ali and his three associates were involved in a heinous incident in which two sisters were sexually assaulted during a robbery.

According to the FIR, four armed robbers entered the victims’ agricultural fields, took the family hostage, and forced them to open the house door. Once inside, the robbers tied up the family members, took the women outside, and subjected them to gang-rape.

Before fleeing, the assailants looted valuables worth approximately PKR 700,000, including gold jewelry, cash, and other precious items.

In response to the brutal incident, police promptly registered a case under Sections 376 (gang rape) and 392 (robbery) of the Pakistan Penal Code and launched an intensive investigation.
