Staff level agreement with IMF will be finalized soon, says PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be finalized soon.

According to the details, PM Shehbaz Sharif said in a statement that we staked our politics for the state. The government is facing the toughest conditions from the IMF.

In the statement, the prime minister highlighted the economic situation and said that Pakistan’s fear of bankruptcy is over. Now Pakistan is facing economic, external, and political challenges, he said.

Criticizing the Chairman PTI, the prime minister said that Imran Khan blew the deal with the IMF while the IMF told our government that the deal must be accepted.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said in the context of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund that the staff-level agreement with the IMF will be concluded soon. “If the elections are held on time, then the constitution, law, and the state will be alive,” he maintained.

He said that the census has been started across the country while funds have been provided. Provincial governments have to contribute to the census process, he added.
