The highly anticipated 8-episode horror miniseries from creator Haley Z. Boston (Brand New Cherry Flavor) and executive producers The Duffer Brothers (Stranger Things) has officially premiered on Netflix.
According to its pitch available online, Rachel (Camila Morrone) and Nicky (Adam DiMarco) drive to a remote, snow-covered family cabin for their wedding. However, on the other hand, variety notes it takes too long to get going in the first half (building mystery while hiding the big twists), and questions if it might’ve worked better as a tighter movie. Some viewers might find the slow-burn setup frustrating before it escalates.

It’s perfect for a binge if you’re into slow-building dread that pays off with gore and ideas. But, skip it if you need fast-paced scares or hate anything that feels like it’s withholding info early on.
