A 60-year-old man from Rawalpindi has come under heavy criticism on social media after videos of his recent marriage to a young woman went viral.
For the past three days, footage of the wedding has been widely circulated online, drawing a mixed reaction from users. Many expressed anger, saying it did not befit a man of his age to post what they described as inappropriate videos.
Others questioned the circumstances of the marriage, with some suggesting the young bride had made the decision for financial reasons.

Initially, the couple faced a wave of negative comments, with some users openly criticising the elderly groom, while others claimed the bride had jeopardised her future.
However, in a video released yesterday, the 60-year-old, who is known locally as a hakeem, shared his side of the story and described the marriage as a love match.
He said the relationship began with mutual affection, followed by nikah in accordance with Islamic tradition. “It is both a love marriage and an arranged one,” he explained.
“My wife developed feelings first, and the arrangement followed afterwards.”
