The notification regarding office hours during Ramadan has been issued with the approval of the Chief Secretary Sindh, and relevant authorities have been directed to ensure strict compliance with these timings.

Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet tomorrow (Wednesday) in Peshawar to sight the moon of Ramadan 1447 AH. The meeting will be chaired by the committee’s chairman, Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, while zonal and district Hilal committee meetings will be held at their respective locations.

The official announcement regarding the moon sighting will be made based on testimonies received from across the country.

According to predictions by Pakistan’s National Space Agency, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the Ramadan moon is likely to be visible to the naked eye on the evening of February 18, with the first fast expected to begin on February 19 in Pakistan.
