The Sindh government has fixed the price of a 100kg flour bag at Rs9,500 and approved the Wheat Release Policy 2025–26 during a provincial cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sindh.
To stabilize flour prices, the cabinet decided to release 1.265 million tons of wheat, setting the price of a 100kg wheat sack at Rs9,500. The Chief Minister emphasized that hoarding will not be tolerated.
The cabinet also approved the reconstitution of the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund and the Sindh IT Company Board, along with a decision to restructure the Senior Citizen Council.
Moreover, the cabinet approved the handover of Aaghosh Special Children’s School from Pakistan Steel Mills to the Sindh government and approved the regularization of 78 contractual employees of the Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD).
