The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday for the Christian community on 26th December 2025, in addition to 25th December on the occasion of Christmas.
According to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department of Sindh, the holiday on 26th December is specifically for the Christian community.
The notification states that all government, autonomous, and semi-government departments, corporations, and local councils under the Sindh government will observe the holiday, except for personnel involved in essential services.
Additionally, the Sindh government has issued a notification declaring 25th December as a public holiday for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
This holiday applies to all government and semi-government offices, as well as corporations and local councils under the Sindh government.
