Simultaneous draws for Rs1,500 and Rs100 Prize Bonds announced

FAISALABAD/MULTAN: The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has announced that the draws for Rs 1,500 and Rs 100 national prize bonds will take place simultaneously on August 17, 2026. 

The Rs 1,500 bond draw will be held at the National Savings Center in Faisalabad, while the Rs 100 bond draw will occur at the National Savings Center in Multan. Results for both categories will be published on the same day.

It is pertinent to mention here that hundreds of thousands of bondholders across Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the outcome, as two major prize bond denominations will be drawn on the same date.

Both draws are part of CDNS’s regular schedule, with results to be made public immediately after completion.

Prize Breakdown

Rs 1,500 Prize Bond Draw (Faisalabad)

– First Prize: Rs 3 million (1 winner)

– Second Prize: Rs 1 million (3 winners)

– Third Prize: Rs 18,500 (1,696 winners)

The Rs 1,500 bond, it may be added here, remains a popular choice due to its affordability and higher winning probabilities, attracting a large number of participants, including citizens and taxpayers.

 Rs 100 Prize Bond Draw (Multan)

– First Prize: Rs 700,000 (1 winner)

– Second Prize: Rs 200,000 (3 winners)

– Third Prize: Rs 1,000 (1,199 winners)

A substantial prize pool will be distributed among the winners in Multan.

How to Check Results

After the official announcement, bondholders can verify their winnings through the National Savings Pakistan website by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official National Savings Prize Bond Result portal.
  2. Select the bond denomination (Rs 100 or Rs 1,500).
  3. Choose the draw date (August 17, 2026).
  4. Search for your bond number or download the full list of winners.

 

A search facility is also available on the website for individual bond verification.

Eligibility and Taxation

– Eligibility: Only bonds issued at least 60 days before the draw date qualify.

– Purchase: Bonds can be bought from authorized National Savings Centers and approved sources before the shut period.

– Tax Deduction:

  – Filer: 15% withholding tax on prize money.

  – Non-Filer: 30% withholding tax on prize money.
