KARACHI: In a surprising turn of events, a station-house officer (SHO) was allocated to two different district police stations on Monday after an apparent mess.
As per details, he was assigned by a notification issued in the name of SHO Imran Afridi to perform his duties at the east district police station: Jamshed quarters.
While another notification released in the name of the same SHO stated that he had been posted to the central district, Gulberg. The origin of the misunderstanding is still unidentified by the Sindh police department.

Earlier on January 15, the funeral prayer of slain policeman, who was killed in the metropolis’s Industrial area, was offered at the Police Headquarters Garden on Wednesday.
Constables-Irfan was killed during a police encounter with criminals in the jurisdiction of New Karachi police station, a police statement said.
It said that the funeral prayer was attended by Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon, officials of Pakistan Rangers Sindh and senior police officials.
