Shawaiz Irfan scored another fifty and Rohail’s quick knock helped Pakistan Shaheens chase down 121 runs in 12.5 overs against PNG to qualify for the final of the Top End T20 series today in Australia.
In the end, the team’s right-handed batsman received equal assistance from captain Rohail Nazir as he smashed quick 33 runs to seal another victory in the series.
Shamyl Hussain, who was supposed to help the Shaheens chase down 121 runs, only managed to score one run. Shawaiz remained there for a longer period of time and earned his second fifty of this series.
