LAHORE: Punjab information minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that the setup of 1000-beds within nine days in Punjab was a success.
While highlighting the positive measures taken by the federal government against the virus, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that that the government was ensuring all facilities to the needy people during the partial lockdown.
Chauhan further asserted that such efforts were the steps to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease. He also urged the people to adopt preventive measures, like social-distancing and staying home.
He added that the economic package for the patients infected by the virus would be soon launched across Punjab.
Punjab information minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan earlier lauded the role of media by calling it a key pillar of the state. While praising its role, he said that all the channels and newspapers should be lauded for this brave effort.
