Senior journalist and analyst Rauf Klasra on Sunday claimed that the murdered of young Baloch woman and her husband, a harrowing incident which stirred nationwide outrage, was occurred three days before Eid.
Earlier, a video emerged on social media showing more than 20 armed individuals allegedly abducted a couple, identified as Shetal and Sanaullah, into the mountains and brutally killed them.
A distressing video that circulated widely on social media depicts armed tribal men escorting Shetal to a remote mountainous area. Moments later, gunshots are heard, and she collapses to the ground. The brutality, captured in full view of the camera, sparked a wave of public anger and once again brought to light the entrenched, patriarchal violence faced by Baloch women—often in silence and without recourse.

“According to the information I have received, the woman and man killed in Balochistan—identified as Sanaullah—were murdered three days before Eid,” Klasra wrote on his Facebook. “The woman belonged to the Satakzai tribe, while Sanaullah was from the Salman tribe. Both were residents of the same area.”

“Some time ago, the couple had left their hometown. After being away for forty days, they returned to their area three days before Eid, where they were captured and killed,” he added.
The journalist said that the incident took place in the Marget area under the jurisdiction of Hanna Police Station in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, government spokesperson Shahid Rind confirmed that the Chief Minister, after reviewing the video, has ordered a thorough investigation and the swift arrest of the perpetrators.
