RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed 13 terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna-ul-Khawarij during two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced.
According to the military’s media wing ISPR, the operations were carried out in Bara Khyber and Bannu.
Ten terrorists were eliminated during the operation in Bara Khyber, while three Khawarij were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Bannu. Several terrorist hideouts were also destroyed during both operations.
The ISPR stated that the campaign against terrorism continues across the country under the “Determination of Stability” initiative, with a crackdown intensified against militants operating under Indian patronage.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces, saying they had brought the terrorists to their end in Bannu and Bara through their professional skills and dedication. He described the armed forces as a “lead wall” standing firm against terrorism to protect the country.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the government remains fully committed to completely eradicating terrorism from Pakistani soil.
