Further details have emerged regarding the driver accused in the traffic accident at Sea View, which left one person dead and two others injured.
The main suspect in the hit-and-run case has been identified as Nauman Ali, a resident of Dera Murad Jamali. Following the accident, the suspect fled the scene and reportedly sought assistance from his friends.
According to initial reports, after disposing of the vehicle, the suspect went to a friend’s house in Defence Phase 7. Investigations have also revealed that a Corolla and a Revo vehicle are registered under the suspect’s name.
Investigating police officials stated that a raid was conducted after the suspect’s location was traced to a private housing society on the Super Highway. However, the suspect managed to escape before the police arrived.
Police officials further stated that the suspect has now fled from Sindh to Balochistan. However, investigators claim that the absconding suspect will be arrested soon.
It is worth noting that the accident occurred on the night of 14 May near the Khayaban-e-Bukhari turn on Sea View Road in Karachi.
