The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially revised its operational and public dealing hours for the holy month of Ramadan.
This change, aimed at facilitating citizens and bank employees during the fasting period, will apply to all commercial banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) across the country.
According to a circular issued on February 18, the State Bank has streamlined internal office hours.
These timings ensure that essential banking operations continue smoothly without overextending staff during the fast.
For the duration of Ramazan, the office hours for Monday through Thursday will be 9am to 3pm, observed without a break.
On Fridays, the office hours will be further shortened, with staff working from 9am to 12:30pm, also without a break.
