The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is looking for young, talented, and energetic individuals to join as Assistant Directors (OG-2) through the State Bank Officers Training Scheme (SBOTS) – 26th Batch.
The SBP encourages candidates from all provinces and regions of Pakistan to contribute to the nation’s progress. They are specifically recruiting from regions such as Sindh (Rural), Baluchistan, ex-FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) to build a diverse workforce.
The recruited candidates will have the opportunity for a rewarding and challenging career in various areas, including Monetary Policy, Financial Markets, Information Technology, and more. It’s important to note that these positions are based in Karachi.
Eligibility criteria include a Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree with 16 years of education in relevant fields. Candidates with foreign degrees need an equivalence certificate from HEC. Graduates until June 30, 2024, may apply with provisional transcripts.
Applicants must belong to Sindh (Rural), Baluchistan, ex-FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, or AJK, with a maximum age of 26 years as of February 11, 2024. There’s a three-year age relaxation for females, transgender persons, minorities, and candidates from specified regions.
Interested individuals can apply online through the SBP website. During the training period, trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 41,000. Upon successful completion, they will be appointed as Assistant Directors with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 82,000, along with other benefits, as per Bank rules.
