The project’s website describes it as a spiritual and historical experience designed to revive the memory of this sacred migration, allowing each visitor to connect with the spiritual and historical dimensions of the event and experience its impact firsthand.
Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, shared a video of the inauguration on his X account. He said that the project in Madinah organizes the Hijrah route within an educational and documentary framework to help people better understand the Prophet’s (ﷺ) life and mission.
The authority said that the project uses modern storytelling and presentation technologies and will continue for six months. The unique experience guides visitors along the migration route from the Cave of Thawr to Masjid Quba, covering approximately 470 kilometers and passing through over 41 historical sites.
Along the route, accommodations, hospitality facilities, restaurants, and shops have been established to allow visitors to engage with the historic journey through both informative and practical experiences.
