PESHAWAR: In a major development for travelers and pilgrims from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Saudi Airlines has officially inaugurated its new office in the provincial capital of Peshawar.
The state-of-the-art facility was formally inaugurated by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, alongside high-ranking officials and representatives from the diplomatic community, including the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi termed the arrival of the Saudi Ambassador to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a highly positive and welcome development for the province. He emphasized that the new Saudi Airlines branch will significantly streamline travel logistics for the region’s residents.
“Every year, thousands of people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa embark on the sacred journeys of Hajj and Umrah,” Governor Kundi stated. “The establishment of a dedicated Saudi Airlines office right here in Peshawar is a crucial milestone that will bring world-class travel services directly to their doorstep.”
The local office is expected to greatly reduce the administrative hassle for travelers who previously had to rely on distant branches or third-party agents for booking, ticket modifications, and specialized travel inquiries.
Deep-Rooted Bilateral Relations
Reflecting on the historical bond between the two nations, Governor Kundi reiterated that the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has always been defined by mutual respect and deep-rooted brotherhood. He expressed deep gratitude to the Saudi leadership, noting that Saudi Arabia has consistently stood by Pakistan as a reliable and supportive ally during challenging times.
