Former actress Sara Chaudhry, who stepped away from the entertainment industry due to her religious inclination, has revealed that she faced several inappropriate offers during the early phase of her acting career.
Speaking on a recent podcast, she shed light on some of the less appealing aspects of show business.
She said it is commonly perceived that people working in the industry often face judgment about their character, and as a result, newcomers frequently encounter unwelcome proposals.
Sara shared that her mother accompanied her everywhere at the start of her career, yet the initial months proved to be a difficult test for the family.
She said certain inappropriate offers coming from within the industry deeply upset her mother, to the point that she once broke down in tears and advised Sarah to leave acting and resume her studies.
The former actress added that while working in the industry, she set clear boundaries for herself and tried her best to adhere to them.
