KARACHI: Famous Pakistani stars Rubina Ashraf and Sakina Samo have contracted novel COVID-19.
According to the sources, Rubina and Sakina decided to get tested after they experienced symptoms of coronavirus. The reports of their tests came out positive.
Following positive test reports, Rubina Ashraf and Sakina Samo have quarantined themselves at their homes. The families of Rubina and Sakina are also likely to be tested for COVID-19 soon.
On May 25, renowned morning show host Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz had tested positive for COVID-19 and the celebrity couple had been self-isolating at home for the past 13 days.
Nida Yasir took to Instagram and confirmed that she, husband Yasir Nawaz and daughter, have tested positive for coronavirus and are currently in isolation.
Nida had shared a photo of herself with daughter and husband and wrote, “Quarantine partners.” Nida also extended Eid greetings to the fans and friends, saying “EID MUBARAK.”
Updating on their health, Nida wrote that they are fine but have tested positive and are currently in isolation. She went on to say her sons have tested negative but requested prayers for the family.
Yasir also shared the same family photo, requesting for prayers and asking for blessings of Almighty Allah. Previously, there were reports that Nida Yasir, along with her husband Yasir Nawaz, and actress Alizeh Shah had tested positive for coronavirus.
