Residents of Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area have raised concerns over an alleged increase in illegal alcohol supply, claiming that a delivery network is operating openly at night.
According to public complaints, alleged liquor suppliers remain active throughout the night, claiming to provide “delivery within 10 minutes after one call.”
Residents claim that several wine shops in Gulshan-e-Iqbal have already faced allegations of selling alcohol illegally, including to underage individuals and Muslims. They allege that the situation has now escalated, with suspected suppliers offering home delivery services throughout the night.
According to complaints from citizens, individuals identified as Ambrose, Tariq, and John are allegedly involved in the overnight delivery of alcohol.
Local residents claim that these activities are continuing due to alleged negligence by Aziz Bhatti Police Station and Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police Station. They have also alleged that silence has been maintained in exchange for “large sums of money.”

“Late-night alcohol deliveries through motorcycles in streets and neighborhoods have become routine,” people in the area claimed.
Citizens have submitted multiple applications to the SSP East and DIG East, demanding immediate action and the elimination of the alleged network from the area, while authorities have yet to issue an official response.
