Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Saleem Rajput on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the repatriation of illegal immigrants from the city.
It was revealed during the meeting that arrangements to expel illegal foreign immigrants from Karachi have been completed. A decision was made during the meeting that in accordance with federal government directives. The work to expel illegal individuals from Karachi will commence on Wednesday, November 1.
The district administration, police, and rangers will work together, overseen by deputy commissioners. During the meeting, IG Sindh Asim Khan, IG South Asad Reza, all deputy commissioners, NADRA, Pakistan Railways, and officers from other departments were briefed about the arrangements.

In the meeting deputy commissioners provided detailed briefings about illegal individuals in their respective districts. It was informed that details regarding the residential locations and employment of illegal individuals have been obtained.
It was mentioned that the hiring of illegal foreign immigrants has been prohibited, instructing not to provide any aid to illegal individuals and not to employ or retain any illegal person for employment after November 1. Similarly, property owners have been strictly directed not to provide residence to any illegal foreign immigrants.
