LAHORE: Renowned Pakistani comedian Farrukh Shah on Wednesday passed away due to cardiac arrest in Lahore.
The actor’s son confirmed his death today. He said that his father suffered a cardiac arrest early today and died on his way to the hospital. Shah was famous for impersonating Prime Minister Imran Khan in various TV shows.
Family sources said he was facing financial problems after closure of theatres due to COVID-19. Many comedians extended their condolences to his family, with tributes and posts on social media dedicated to him.
