KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Friday claimed to have nabbed 13 suspected criminals, including eight robbers during raids in different parts of the metropolis.
According to Rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary forces conducted raids against criminals in different areas of the city, including Gaddap town, Gulshan Maymar, Madina Colony and Lyari.
The spokesman further said during raids the rangers’ teams apprehended eight robbers, Amir, Salman, Ahsanullah, Hazrat Gul, Kamran, Aziz, Rahim alias Faru, Abdul Samad, Kamran and Faraz.
Separately, the rangers’ parties conducted raids in different areas of the city and detained five suspects, Muhammad Ali, Zahid Ahmed Khan, Saqib, Muhammad Sani, Syed Abbas and Nadeem Sheikh.
Rangers claimed that the arrested suspects were involved in street crimes, drug peddling and other heinous crimes. Earlier on January 4, Sindh Rangers apprehended 19 suspects during raids carried out in various areas of Karachi.
Spokesman of Sindh Rangers had stated that the raids were carried out by paramilitary forces in the metropolis areas of Baldia, Korangi, Malir and other areas of the city. The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drug and contrabands from their possession.
