Punjab has introduced the Pak ID app, allowing vehicle owners to complete biometric verification from anywhere, eliminating the need to visit offices for registration, transfer, or purchase processes.
The new system also enables Pakistanis living abroad to verify vehicle ownership from home, making transactions faster, transparent, and more convenient.
With this new system, vehicle owners in Punjab will no longer need to visit offices for registration, transfer, or purchase verification.
Following verification, the transfer process will become more transparent, with online payment of dues through the app and other services.
The launch of the Pak ID app was inaugurated today by the DG of Excise and Taxation from his office.
The DG of Excise and Taxation said that the Pak ID app will make ownership transfers easier for Punjab’s 26 million vehicles. Once ownership is verified and fees are paid, the transfer process will be completed within 48 hours.
