LAHORE: The Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar has given the go-ahead to authorities to lead a crackdown on drug peddlers in the province on Monday.
Punjab government has decided to start a crackdown on the drug dealers and peddlers outside the educational institutions in the Province.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has instructed the government departments to take unbiased and stringent actions against such individuals and groups. He added that the individuals selling this kind of poison must be put behind the bars.
CM directed police and other law enforcement departments to coordinate with anti-narcotics force to eliminate this threat. He further said such individuals are murderers of humanity.
He said that effective and efficient steps must be taken to cut out this evil from the society, adding that the concerned departments must play an important role in eradicating this poison from society.
Punjab in recent time has witnessed a high number of drug users and abusers.
