The Punjab Traffic Police has revised the fees for driving licenses for cars, motorcycles, and rickshaws.
A regular driving license is granted to individuals who pass both the practical and road sign tests within the specified timeframe. The purpose of issuing these licenses is to ensure road safety and minimize accidents. To obtain a license, applicants are required to submit the necessary fee.
Updated Fees (Effective January 2025)
- Motorcycle Driving License: Rs 930 for one year, plus an additional Rs 50 test fee.
- Rickshaw Driving License: Rs 880 for one year, with a Rs 100 test fee.
- Car Driving License: Rs 1,830 for one year, plus a Rs 150 test fee.
Required Documents for Regular Driving License
- Copy of CNIC
- Medical certificate (issued by an authorized medical practitioner)
- Medical Fitness Certificate (for candidates aged 50 years or older)
- Application form (A)
- Original learner’s permit (valid for at least 42 days)
- Relevant ticket attached to the application
- 3 Passport-size photographs
