The Agriculture Department has announced a special relief package for potato and kinnow farmers and other stakeholders, made possible through the efforts of the Punjab government and its continuous coordination with the federal government.
The federal government has issued a formal notification regarding the special relief package.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan’s exports of kinnow and potatoes are rapidly increasing through Iran’s transit route, leading to a rise in demand for Pakistani agricultural products across Asian markets.

The route through Iran allows faster and more cost-effective transportation, benefiting both exporters and importers.
This trade corridor is playing a significant role in strengthening Pakistan’s agricultural economy.
