Two alleged terrorists were killed, while two others managed to escape during a clash between police and suspected militants in Peshawar, national media reported on Saturday.
According to details, the exchange of fire took place near the Hassan Khel police station area on the outskirts of Peshawar, where two terrorists were killed, and two others fled in injured condition.
The Peshawar CCPO stated that the terrorist group involved in the encounter was possibly preparing to attack the Hassan Khel police station.
It is worth noting that amid the recent surge in terrorist activities across the country, militants have been targeting police stations and centers with the aim of spreading fear and panic.
Earlier, terrorists had attacked a police training center in Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in the deaths of seven personnel and injuries to thirteen others.
