PUNJAB: The counting of votes in all four constituencies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is currently underway with some unconfirmed and unofficial results also being reported.
According to the unofficial results of the PK-63 constituency of Nowshera, PML-N’s Ikhtiar Wali has won the by-election with 21,122 votes while PTI’s Mian Umar was able to secure 17,023 votes.
According to the preliminary results of 36 polling stations of PP-51 constituency in Wazirabad, PTI candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Yousuf is trailing with 12,311 votes while PML-N candidate Begum Talat Shaukat is leading with 13,107 votes.
NA-45 Kurram-I unofficial results
Unofficial results obtained for Kurram from 94 polling stations showed that independent candidate Haji Syed Jamal is ahead with 12,735 votes. PTI candidate Malik Fakhar Zaman is close behind with 12,343 votes thus far.
PP-51 Gujranwala-I unofficial results
Unofficial results from 135 polling stations of the Gujranwala constituency showed that PML-N’s Begum Talat Mahmood is in first place with 44,371 votes. PTI’s Chaudhry Yousuf, meanwhile, was in second place with 38,244 votes.
