Lahore Traffic Police have seized a motorcycle carrying 112 unpaid e-challans amounting to Rs207,800 on Wahdat Road Wednesday.
According to the traffic police press statement, the motorcycle’s record was checked during routine enforcement against traffic violations, which revealed that the bike owner has not paid total of 112 e-challans with cumulative fines of Rs207,800.
Subsequently the vehicle was impounded and shifted to police station.

Traffic police said the motorcycle owner had repeatedly violated traffic laws, including 55 instances of riding without a helmet, 20 signal violations, 28 lane discipline violations, and eight over-speeding offences.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Abdul Raheem Shirazi said the crackdown against vehicles with unpaid e-challans would continue across the city.
