The federal cabinet meeting, planned for today, Tuesday, and to be led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is postponed.
According to some reports by national media, citing sources, reveal that the meeting was initially called by the Prime Minister but was delayed due to his engagements.
Earlier, a similar meeting on January 23, 2025, was also postponed due to the Prime Minister’s private commitments.
Federal cabinet meetings in Pakistan frequently address key national issues, including economic policies, security matters, and legislative proposals. The cabinet, led by the Prime Minister, discusses and makes decisions on various topics that impact governance and public welfare.
During these meetings, ministers present reports and recommendations. The cabinet collectively evaluates these inputs, aiming for consensus on important matters. Decisions made can include budget allocations, policy reforms, and responses to crises.
The cabinet also plays a crucial role in shaping foreign policy and international relations. Regular meetings ensure that the government remains responsive to both domestic and global challenges.
