PML-N workers leave for Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Amid rising political tensions, convoys of the main party of the opposition alliance, the Pakistan Democratic Movement, (PML-N) started leaving for Islamabad.

Convoys of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) have entered Punjab from Sindh and will reach Islamabad via various cities of Punjab where they will be received by opposition workers.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supporters led by Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shahbaz will leave Lahore for Islamabad from Model Town.

Banners and posters in support of the long march have been hung all over Lahore, while local PML-N leaders have been directed to gather supporters and reach the Model Town office to join the central caravan led by Hamza and Maryam.
