ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today to discuss the overall political and economic situation of the country.
Appointment of non-official members of the Wildlife Management Board, briefing on changes in visa policy for Afghanistan, and approval of the Constitution of the Medical and Dental Council are also on the agenda of the meeting.
The federal cabinet meeting will also be briefed on loans and debt servicing and reforms in the power sector. The meeting convened under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan is also expected to approve a one-time permit for the import of wheat through the British airline Atlantic Airways service and TCP.

Cabinet members will be briefed on changes in visa policy for Afghanistan. The appointment of a specialist in biological medicine and approval of the constitution of the Medical and Dental Council is on the agenda of the cabinet.
The plan for rehabilitation and restructuring of Pakistan Railways will be presented in the cabinet. The issue of inquiry into the breakdown of the telemetry system in Irsa and the appointment of an administrator of the Islamabad Club are also on the agenda.
