ASTANA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the sixth CICA Summit today during his visit to Kazakhstan and will present Pakistan’s position to the international community.
According to the details, the prime minister arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday to attend the Summit of Confidence Building Organization in Asia (CICA). PM Shehbaz will highlight the challenges of climate change in Pakistan while addressing the sixth summit.
During the CICA Summit, the prime minister will clarify Pakistan’s point of view on regional and global issues in his address and will also hold meetings with the leaders and heads of state of the CICA member countries, while the CICA countries are facing important economic challenges.

Established 30 years ago in 1992, the intergovernmental organization CICA includes 27 countries in the continent of Asia which keeps holding meetings on peace and security, socio-economic development, and other important issues. Pakistan is among the founding members of CICA.
