PM Shehbaz Sharif to chair federal cabinet meeting today
ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the federal cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be held today.
The law and order situation and the protest activities of Tehreek-e-Insaaf will also be reviewed in the meeting, while the Hajj Policy 2023 will be presented in the meeting.
Yesterday, the Punjab Interior Department imposed Section 144 in Lahore and imposed a ban on public gatherings, processions, and rallies, while the implementation of the ban had already started yesterday. Section 144 will continue for the next 7 days, the ban has been imposed in view of the poor traffic and security situation.

It should be noted that even before the implementation of Article 144, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf had announced to start its election campaign, under which a rally was to be held from Zaman Park, the residence of Imran Khan in Lahore.
