Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to improve gas supply for domestic consumers during the winter season.
Addressing the National Assembly, Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed that uninterrupted gas be ensured for households from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Ali Pervaiz Malik shared these details while responding to a calling-attention notice during the Assembly session.
The federal minister noted that gas load-shedding has seen a significant reduction compared to last year. However, he added that wherever gas pressure issues persist, they should be reported so they can be resolved.
He said that between 80,000 and 90,000 complaints were received in November, of which 70% to 80% were related to OGRA. He added that these complaints were resolved within 36 hours.
