ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday praised the inspirational journey of the Army Public School (APS) massacre’s survivor Ahmad Nawaz, who has become the president of Oxford University’s Union.
Taking to Twitter, the PM wrote “Great honor and inspiring journey fueled by determination and sheer willpower.”

Ahmad Nawaz, who survived the horrific attack on APS Peshawar, has joined his duties as President of the debating society of the prestigious university.
“He has set an example worthy of emulation by our youth,” the prime minister said.
“Pakistan is proud of you, Ahmad,” he added.
Earlier, Ahmad Nawaz, who was elected to the post earlier this March said, “Immensely proud to have finally assumed my duties as President of Oxford Union”.
