TEHRAN: Prime Minister Imran Khan has met Iranian President Hassan Rouhani during his one-day official visit to Tehran.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has reached Iran today as part of his initiative to mediate talks between Tehran and Riyadh and to regional peace and security.
This is the second meeting between the two leaders within one month. Reportedly, the two sides held wide-ranging consultations on different issues.
The prime minister was followed by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Special Assistant to premier Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari and other senior officials.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan was willing to play its role in strengthening peace and stability in the region.
