ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his Saudi counterpart Prince Muhammad bin Salman had a telephone conversation during which a lively discussion was held on bilateral relations.
According to the details, Saudi Prime Minister Prince Muhammad bin Salman congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on assuming the post of Prime Minister and discussed the promotion of close brotherly relations between the two countries.
During the telephone conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Saudi Crown Prince for the congratulatory messages after taking office and expressed his good wishes for the health of the Custodians of the Two Harams, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan have immense respect and love for the Saudi Crown Prince and the Ruler. We also congratulate the Saudi government and the Saudi people on Ramadan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed that the holy month of Ramadan would bring a message of peace and harmony to Muslims around the world and said that Pakistan is proud of its historic, deep, and brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia.
He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have always stood by each other while we appreciate the efforts of Saudi Arabia for unwavering support of Pakistan. He also invited the Saudi Crown Prince to visit Pakistan.
