ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to hold a massive gathering on Friday in Muzzafarabad to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
This announcement was made by the prime minister in a tweet earlier on Wednesday. The gathering will be held on 13th September, Friday.
The prime minister took to Twitter and maintained that he would send a message to the world about the continuing siege of Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK).
The prime minister said, “I am going to do a big jalsa in Muzzafarabad on Friday 13 Sept, to send a message to the world about the continuing siege of Indian occupied Kashmir by Indian forces; and to show the Kashmiris that Pakistan stands resolutely with them. “

Occupied Kashmir, split between India and Pakistan since 1947, has been in lockdown by the Indian forces up to a month. The disputed territory has seen a decades-old armed rebellion against Indian rule with tens of thousands, mostly civilians, killed.
