To facilitate more overseas Pakistanis in celebrating Eid with their loved ones in their home country, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has continued its tradition of reducing fares for both Eids every year. This year too, the national flag carrier has announced up to a 20% reduction in international fares.
According to media reports, PIA has reduced fares from Saudi Arabia by 20% and from Toronto by 10%. Undoubtedly, this initiative will serve as a travel incentive for the country’s vast diaspora and enhance the airline’s image among travelers.
Sources indicate that fare reductions for other international destinations, as well as domestic flights, are also in the pipeline.
This offer is intended to support the large Pakistani diaspora living abroad who are likely to return to their homeland to celebrate Eid with their families.
It is worth noting that Pakistan Railways has also announced five special trains with reduced fares for the occasion of Eidul Adha this year.
