Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced that it has partnered with railway companies in Canada and the United Kingdom to offer enhanced travel options for its passengers.

According to a PIA spokesperson, PIA has finalized a historic agreement with rail services in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Under this agreement, passengers traveling with PIA will be able to use the same ticket to access train services in Toronto, Manchester, and London.

The national airline’s spokesperson stated that passengers arriving in Toronto on a PIA flight will be able to travel to eight major cities in Canada via the AccesRail service.

Similarly, PIA passengers traveling to Manchester and London in the UK will have access to more than fifty cities through the AccesRail service.

According to PIA, passengers can obtain train tickets from all airline booking offices and registered travel agents. Tickets can also be booked through PIA’s website and mobile application.

The PIA spokesperson added that the primary goal of the agreement is to provide passengers with the best travel convenience right to their doorstep. The air-to-rail collaboration represents a significant step toward digitizing and modernizing PIA’s network.

It is worth noting that AccesRail is an international company that acts as a bridge between airlines and railways.

PIA had initially partnered with the company in January 2020 to enable passengers to book train tickets to the UK, Canada, and other countries through PIA’s booking platform.

After the UK lifted restrictions on PIA in July 2025, the airline has decided to offer this service to passengers once again.
